I bet you $10,000 that all that info is available on their respective websites. Are you thinking it's more efficient to ask people to look it up, or go weigh their scopes that aren't installed on a rifle, instead of looking it up yourself?

Edited to increase my bet, because I just looked them up, including the Sightron.

Bill -

I have repeatedly seen advertised weights are not always the same as actual weights, and is why I am asking. Plus by asking for "bare weights" to find out the actual weights with out the shades, caps, battery.

Of the 3 scopes asking of, I have the NF here but is setup (lapped and leveled) in rings and am not wanting to un-ring it. But am wanting "true/bare weights" for a project that is weight dependent to less then 1-ounce.
I am wanting to lighten a LT-gun (16lb-15oz 600/1000 rifle that has a NF-BR on it) +10-ounces and looking at doing it by going to a lighter scope.
Would like to stay with a high powered variable is why asking of the Sightron, but may settle for the 45X Leupold which I would think should cut the weight to my desire, but not certain, and is why asking for its bare/true weight also.

If you would have actual true bare weights (no shades, caps, battery) I would be appreciative !!!

Thanks
Donovan

Donovan, I just weighed a Sightron 10-50 and it weighed 28.64 with out anything. A BR weighs 36 oz. I find the best way to reduce some more weight is the rings and base. Good luck..... jim
