Scope Tuner??

Scope tuner?? What the heck!
But it got me to wondering when mounting a scope last week. It was extremely heavy fwd of the turrets. I could not get it back far enough because the turrets were touching the back ring. Oh well, I'm not the only one I guess.
But it got me to wondering if all the weight of the scope basically on the front ring & base has any effect on the action or accuracy period?
Any thoughts appreciated.

Double Rings and bases.

If the rifle will make weight, some shooters use 2 sets of rings on the front part of the scope.
