ok, i just bought a new (at least new for me) 6mm ppc to use in 200 yd competitions. What scope should I put on it? I can not have it weight too much because it will be a LV rifle.

I have not weighed it yet, but Bob White told me that it can take a Leupold 45x competition and still be under the 10.5 lbs with rings. It is a stolle action, hart barrel, kelby stock, built by stevens accuracy.

Can't go wrong with the Leupold LCS 45X, it's probably the most common scope in use. If it's more than you want to spend. Then look at the weaver and sightron 36x or a used Leupold 36X BR-D. If you buy the weaver or sightron....keep the receipt.

That depends on a lot of things. However, Billy Stevens [Stevens Accuracy, Brundidge, Alabama] built me a 6PPC LV about 2 years ago. Kelbly BR FB stock, BAT 7.5B action, Krieger LV Barrel 21 1/2 inches, Jewel Trigger, Kelbly Rings, etc. I recently put a Leupold Competition 45X45 on it. Everything was weighed at the Bluebonnet a few weeks ago and it came up 10lbs 2ozs.

I think i am going to go with the Leupold 45x. I was reading in Mike Ratigan's book about people altering there's though and do not know how to do this or how much it helps.

Also, since i am going to try and get a Leupold 45x competition. Does anyone have a used on they would like to sell????

If Bob White said it you can take it to the friggin' bank.
