I can't make weight with a NF!! :(


I can't afford a March!! :eek:


Nobody will boost an 8.5-20 LRT Leupold!!:mad: :mad:


I Did OK with the Gene Davis Booster, but want more than 32X, which is what Gene told me the 3X boosted my 25X to. Also, I never really got my crosshairs very sharp. I was thinking of cutting the lock ring off with a dremmel tool so I could turn the occular lense in a touch more. All I need is about another 3/4 turn to bring the cross hair into pefect focus. But still only 32x.

I was thinking of going with a fixed power BR scope like the 45X Leupold Comp series.

Anyone else on the planet compete at 1K with a fixed 45?

I know that the short range guys "freeze" the Leupold because of point of impact changes. Does the 8.5 25 not have the same problem, or is it a moot point at 1K? I never here the complaints about this on the 600/1000 fourm like on the SR fourm.

Or are the SR guys just a bunch of WHINERS??:D

Well the 45x leupold is my next on a 223 vsf..........got the rifle now saving for the scope.:D

Why aren't you making weight?
We have a 338 Lapua Magnum shooter out here with a 32 inch tensioned barrel with a huge muzzlebrake and 6 inch wide forend making it under the 17 pound rule.

It just won't.:confused: I probably didn't use the best action for LG...BAT 1.55 round Mod M. Probably should have gone with the 1.47 multi flat. I won't give up the 30" tube. On the scale at the local store, which I am sure is balls-on-dead-accurate :)D)....gives me 17.39 lbs. No way to shed 6.24 Oz by removing stuff. I probably could have made weight at Pella....I registerd only 16.1 with a 8.5 - 25 Leupold. I never planned on shooting compeditively last fall when I decided to build it, so knew it would not make it with the NF going in . The BBl is fluted to within a fraction of it's life.


You see 36X's....how about 45X's?

Call us we have just traded a 8.5x20 Leupold that was boosted to 20-50x by Priemer. Price is 850.00 and is in great shape. Kelbly's 330-683-4674 8 - 3:30 Eastern time.

lighten the stock

Pull the barrel off and lighten the stock in the forearm area. The barrel is fully floated?:) Right?
 
45 x

I have been using one for a long time and like it. I am not alone threr are others as well.

Not going to mess with the gun or stock!!!! Won a half million relays with it this year just as it is. The new BBLs will be the same contour and length, chambered by the same smith! As far as caliber???????? 300 wby or 300, WSM, ........................or both!?!:confused:

Just wanted scope info.
