"Scope Bumping"

Hello fellow shooters: I currently am shooting a Burris 8x32 scope. I have seen classified ads stating that he "scope bumped up to ##X and locked. Ok I am farily new to BR. My burris is a fine scope but at 200 yards I have difficulty seeing the X in the 10 ring. My questions are 1. is there anyone who can "bump" a Burris. 2. Do bumped scopes shoot as well as say a "night Force or fixed Leopold? Just looking for those who have experienced these issues.
Thanks Scott

No one I know of is bumping variables but Gene Davis has an optical booster that either screw in the eyepiece or slips over (for a more universal fit) you might want to try one of these, I think there around 100.00. Look in the classifieds. I have a fully custom varmit rifle that I use worn out BR barrels on. I have a B&L 8x32 on it and it seems as good as a weaver 36x at 200yds but I shoot group and haven't looked at a score target thru it.
