Scope base for Savage F/TR

I bought my son a Savage rifle this weekend because so many other BR guys seem to be starting out with these.

I've also order a Leupy Mark 4 LR/T 8x32x5x but I didn't get rings and bases.
What rings and bases are recommended for this rifle?
I think he will need a base with 20 MOA built in.

I bought Farrell rings and standard base and 20 moa base for my F/TR. Bases are one piece. Got mine from Sinclair. There are other quality rings and bases out there, and this is one of them. I assume that you want something more than $20.00 rings and bases, considering what you already bought. Just my opinion. I also have a GG&G bipod, some guys use Harris. ( GG&G is twice the price, no springs, similar to a M-14 bipod ) Once again, My opinion. Ron

I called Farrel and ordered the one piece base and matching rings.
