Savage target action bolt heads

Butch,
I got a chance to examine a right eject bolt this afternoon. While the extractor is on the centerline of the bolt lug, the ejector if offset below the lug. So flipping it 180 would put the ejector above the bolt lug, forcing the case downward as it's ejected. There must be a different bolt head for the left eject actions.
Regards,
Ron

Even if the ejector and extractor were both on the center line, older model savages have an alignment notch in the bolt body and a slot in the bolt head so you couldn't flip it unless you reamed out the body, or re-cut the slot in the head.
