Savage SSTL F-Class Target Action and Stock for Sale, .308 RBRP

I have a brand new, unused, RH Right bolt right port .308 bolt face Savage Target Action that I have pillar bedded into a Remington 40 X SB prone stock that I am thinking of barreling in 308 Win for F Class Tactical, all it needs is a barrel, adjustable Buttplate, and possibly a hand rail/bipod mount.

Does this action/stock qualify for F Class Tactical? does it need to be a factory barreled stocked 308 (mag?)config? Ive shot one match with my 700 varminter and did well, quite frankly this is more work and money I want to get into at this time and am thinking of just selling it and sticking with the Rem 700.

I also have a .223 Rem 700 kreiger barreled VS stocked gun that I really like.
Thoughts? Recommendations?

Yeah, get a Tubb butt plate assy. a PacNor 1:8 barrel in 6XC or 6.5-284 and enjoy shooting it. Oh, by-the-way, it's F/T as in 'F' Class 'Target'. Tactical rifles need in be repeaters.

Actually it could be F-class open or F-TR
F-TR is restricted to .223 and .308 only with bipod and open is any caliber the range allows
there are a few other rules but that is the jest of it

You are so right Earl, I stand corrected  and of the two calibers I would think only the .308 in 1:10 to 1:13 would be suitable for 800 yards and beyond. (I bet I'm going to hear about this)
