Savage Factory Target Rifle

I am interested in finding out more about the Savage rifle. It seems that a lot of benchrest shooters do well using the Savage rifle in 600 yard competitions. I'm not sure which model performs better though--the benchrest rifle or the F class rifle. Please provide me with your thoughts if you have experience shooting the Savage rifle in 600 yard competition.
 
I have two Savage model 12 Fs in 6.5 x .284. I shoot F-Class. Been very happy with them.

I shoot 500 meter benchrest groundhog matches with a Savage Model 12 LRPV in .223. It performs very well with the 80 gr. Berger VLD ahead of a stout load of Varget and Wolf mag primer.
