Savage 112 ejector problem

Hi,
On a recent p.d. hunt the ejector stopped working on my 22-250 Savage. It appears to be stuck in the bolt head and I can't get out. I have disassembled the bolt, and the ejector pin, which holds the ejector in place.
Does anyone one know how to remove the stuck ejector? I have tried, shaking, tapping, poking, and some solvents and oil. Still stuck.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Can you upload a picture? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you're explaining.

You need to carefully inspect the shank of the bolthead. I have seen one that cracked when the ejector was forced deeply into the bolt head. This causes the spring to expand and crack the bolt head.

A new bolt head is only about $20.

One trick I have learned is to use a Dremel vibratory engraver on the end of the ejector. After it has been soaked in penetrating oil, the vibration will move the ejector if there is the slightest amount of life left in the spring.

Thanks everyone

I tried to free it up with a dremel but to no avail. I just orderd a new bolt head and accessories.
Thanks for your help I appreciate it!:)
