Sand for Rear Bag

I am used some aquarium sand in my protector rear bag however I have some genuine heavy sand now to replace it. Anyone have any tips on removing the existing sand from the bottom of the bag? I pulled out the fill sleeve however I can barely get some sand out.

Put the funnel back in, this will keep a small hole patent for drainage, it will be slow but it will work.

Get an aluminum arrow shaft, a bare one with no point of fletching. Also makes a good extension for a powder funnel if you bell one end a bit.
