Back from lubing pellets , boy what a job. anyway it from 8 to noon. we have to be off the range by noon. now back to weighing them buggers.H.B.

See ya Sunday Dec 6th...

Looking forward to the match....

December 13th I'm driving up to Prado for Casa's FT match in Chino...so I'll miss the DEC 13 SDPD event...

Have you guys heard about potential recall of JSBH Exact Diabolo pellets..??? Seems there are some "bad" (die) tins as reported on the Yellow FT forum......the specific die numbers have not been identified yet...but there has been complaints about some 2008-2009 production runs...

I only have die #26000009 and #26003009.....(Die numbers are noted on bottom of tin on the "red sticker"...

PRADO match

I'll be going to PRADO too, will also bring goodies, both to eat, and some for selling or trading, as is the norm for the Annual Xmas match.

Hopefully Roger and Steve, being loyal CASA members, will be coming up also.

Directions to

would love to come watch the air gun stuff once-and even if durham said
it was about as exciting as watching paint dry would like directions there.

4008 Federal ave. Is that El cajon? I live closer to Chino, is there some
airgun stuff going on there also, and is that near Prado Dam?? I will plan
to be at your shoot on the 3th of Jan.

air gun benchrest !

it's off of rt 94 just east of San Diego just below 805 freeway and I-15 across for MT HOPE.Tomas guide page1289 G-2 and that should do it.it's a great place to be!!it looks like we will be rained out this weekend.but we need the rain.hope to see you there next month.H.B.

Is your glass half full or half empty of rain water??

As I recall, there is a full overhead cover there so we could shoot rain or shine!

Come on now, don't be a wet noodle Howie.

If you have a chance to shoot at a range with benches, take it. You surely don't want to wait until next year do ya....

p.s. and Ben will have the coffee to die for!

Airgunning-Chino

No one chimed in about Chino.
I did not know they had any shoots in Chino.
If someone has directions or dates to shoot
in chino please post. Thanks in advance.

Uhhh, why would anyone chime in about chino?

We are located in So Cal, 10 minutes from the border.

If ya wanna shoot, bad enough, be here tomorrow and we will make it happen.

Just don't expect to win......

Chino, Prado Olympic Shooting range

C.A.S.A., the oldest and largest airgun club in Calif. is having it's annual Xmas party and FT match tomorrow (Sunday the 13th). Besides shooting FT rifle and pistol, we will be having a small airgun swapmeet, as well as potluck lunch.

:D Hope that all the all that went up to Prado had a great time ! it's a great place but nothing beats shooting and doing good on a BR-50 target or a AGBR target !! huh? hope to see all of you back at your benchs on Jan 3rd .same place same time. so lube things up and mark your calender . It looks like Charline has the lubing down ! she uses a special blend of herbs and spices-something like KFC uses to lube up there chickens. and you all know how good those slide down. looks like the cats out of the bag !! no excuses now.:rolleyes:H.B.

nice pix's , can't wait for you to show up and take some more photos at the police range. .20 cal could be the right combo with the right lube who knows ? and you can very the pumps to get just the right FPS..or something like that. you must of learned a lot up there huh ? see you soon.H.B.:D

Next match at SDPD,I'll get pics of shooters and their rifles and a group shot..

Have a great holiday and I'll see ya guys Jan 3...:)

All of you who sat home on Sunday missed a really good match. The sun busted thru and everyone was in short sleves by the end of the shooting. The wind was pretty consistant from left to right, with just enough switches to drop the scores into the mid to high 240's.

Congrats once again to Charlene, who not only runs the match but wins on a high percentage against the best we have down here. She is spanking us with a vintage Air Arms and her hoard of Crossman pellets. Luckily she is down to her last couple of cases of the good stuff, so within the next 5 years we will be able to overtake. :D

By the way, the Police Range that we are shooting at has a small retail shop just to the left of where you sign in. They have mainly Police gear, but I bought a great leather belt for IDPA there and was given a 50% discount. Yes, 50%. That is good on all their leather, and the man behind the counter, Ben, is giving 25% off on the other knives and holsters, etc. inside the glass display case. There are some holsters there that you will not find on the market anymore, good stuff that only the cognisenti will appreciate. Just a word to the wise and no longer wealthy. ;)
