We only had one shooter attempt to qualify today. Rick Ingraham shot his Rapid at 20fpe and his EV-2 at 12fpe in some cold and wet conditions. Temp was 37 degrees with moderate to heavy rain when he shot the Rapid, and warmed up to 46 degrees by the time he shot the EV-2.

Here are his scores:
20fpe:
234-1X, 233-4X, 237-4X=704-9X

12fpe:
246-6X, 242-3X, 245-7X=733-16X

I forgot to mention that while Rick was shooting at a designated Airgun bench, we were shooting a Rimfire match with a 20 minute time limit at the other end of the range. I allowed him to shoot his EV-2 12fpe gun while we shot the RF match, but limited his time to 20 minutes. I'm pretty sure he shot the first target in less than 10!

Thanks Dan . I am having some trouble with my 20ft.lb. rifle , do you or Dave know if my EV2 scores can be used for under 20 ft.lb. class ? If I do not get things worked out I could shoot the EV2 in both classes . Thank You Rick

Rick,

You can not use you 733-16X score as a 20fpe score as that was shot during a time when you were shooting 12fpe qualifying targets. Instead, what you would need to do is to let Todd know prior to shooting your 3 HV-B Class targets that you will be using your EV-2 to do so. In any discipline you can always shoot a lighter grade gun in a heavier grade Class so long as you have decided to do so prior to actually shooting the targets, just not the other way around, and you can't change your mind after shooting them

I hope this answers your question.

Nice scores by the way, and I can see why you asked the question. Next match go for it! Shoot your EV-2 as both your LV and HV-B gun.

Rick,
Nice scores with the AA EV. Any luck with the air leak?

Happy Easter to you and your family.

Missed a nice snow storm at Pinnacle Mountain.
