I got to the range early tonight to do a little work on our target stands, and set my flags up early. I knew before Fred even showed up at the range that I'd probably be sending another Springer Record target down to AGBR HQ for verification. Conditions were darn near perfect, and I had hopes of shooting my first outdoor 250 in UL class, too. I was half right, Fred Blanck broke his old record of 242-5X with a 244-2X on the first target and then broke that record with a 244-3X on the second target. My Rapid must still have some water in the barrel from the last match at Holbrook and if Fred's scope hadn't screwed up on the last target, he would have beat my UL agg with his Springer I was so mad at my Rapid that I only shot the first row with it on the last target and then switched to my Walther LGR with under 10 minutes to finish. Here are our results:
