Good practices as it was very hot and humid with switching winds . I am in a slump but things look good for Tod as He shoot a 250 in the 12lb. class with the EV2 . See you all soon at the worlds . Rick

Rick,
Thanks for posting.
Todd,
250 WOW save some for S.C. Would love to try a few pellets through an AA EV-2 some time.

Paul

Nice score. Look forward to meeting you guys.
I've got my machining done now I'm practicing. My ev2 shoots real nice, the HV rig is a bit fickle but I seem to be getting a good velocity spread for a change, about 2fps sd.
I wish I had more time, but then again I would probably always feel that way.

Good and bad....

Good is that I shot a 250, bad is that it's not my gun and I have to give it back after next weekend. Sure gonna miss that gun!!! Paul, not sure how much practice time we're going to have at Palmetto, but if it works out I don't think Joe will mind if you toss a few pellets down the tube on the EV. It really is a sweet shooting gun. Reminds of when I had that magic lot of ammo for my 40X a couple of years ago!!

Dan, Rick and I were talking about the time thing today. Wish we'd known back about April that we'd be going to the Worlds. I've only shot Rick's Dawson HV gun on about 7 targets including the 245 I shot today(5 obvious mistakes on my part), and that's the gun I'm shooting at Palmetto. I hope I can do better with it down South!

Bill, when are you arriving at Palmetto? We hope to be there by mid morning Thur. Looking forward to meeting you and all of the rest of the World shooters!!!!!
Three and a half days till we hit the road and getting excited!
Todd
PS. Rick, we've got 15+ hrs in the truck to talk you through your slump!

Todd i get there Monday night, most of the world shooters are staying @ the Holiday Inn Express Summerville, i'll c u @ the range Thursday.

If anyone is interested I will be selling my EV2 after the Worlds match. I bought it new about a month ago. The benchrest conversion attaches to the accessory points so it can be converted back to original in minutes. The receiver brace is dovetail removable too. It complies with LV rules. I shot a 249-10X in practice with it today.

Todd, are you two driving straight through? I'll be hopefully arriving on Thursday as well, so see you there.

Carl, I'm booked at the Holiday Inn as well for T,F&S nights, so will be catching up with you either at the range, at the hotel, or both.

Gees Will, this started out as a nice and sweet tale of where we're all at and when we'll get there, then you had to go and throw in that picture and offer of your EV-2. Now, ain't that gonna be a cause for a couple of sleepless night! I'm sure you're not going to have to drag it back home with you once the final shot has been put down the tube. Right Todd?

See you all in a couple of days,

Dave

Dave,
Rick and I are driving straight through. I'm working Wed. morning then headed South. My GPS says 15.5hrs for the drive, so we should be there early Thur unless we both get too tired to drive and need to pull over.

I'm going to try to sell my 40X while I'm at the match, and if I can I'm definitely going to be in the market for something....and I sure do like EV-2's!!!! Will, I think the rent for my Fulgham rest is going to be about $900 a day, but maybe we can work something out;)

Can't wait to get to SC to meet everyone!
Todd
