Any of you old time benchrest shooters have a Sako L461 bottom metal laying around from days of converting them to single shot back in the late 50s or early 60s.
To answer your question, back in the days of the L461's, solid bottomed L461's were readily available. In other words there was very little reason to convert a repeater to a single shot. Hope you get lucky!
