Ray Edwards - Australian HOF #21 and a veteran of several WBC events passed away suddenly on Monday afternoon.
Ray was a pioneer of not just benchrest but also shooting associations, clubs, committees and administration.
He was never far from the front line and gave his all over many years - he was a keen competitor and proved his worth winning his HOF 21 number that he proudly displayed.
The Australian benchrest community will sadly miss him but but live on in the knowledge he put so much into the sport that he loved passionately to make a future for those of us still enjoying the privilege.
I am proud to have known Ray and to have called him my friend.
