S200 regulator questions

Looking for info on aftermarket regulators for air arms/cz s200. I don't know if ill go this route or if its worth it. Just looking for general info, and I don't really know much about regs any and all info is appreciated.

you might want to try www.altaros.cz - while I owned S200, I had his reg, and I was quite pleased with its performance.
His English is kind of rusty, but you will manage to understand Ondrej

Unscrewing the cylinder brass cap is really tough. I almost gave up.

I have used the Altaros regulator in a S200 a couple of years ago, it's good when it works. But for me it was not reliable. I got blown o'rings and gasket leaks inside the regulator all the time. I just couldn't trust it after some time.

But I heard he has changed the design, maybe it's more reliable.

opening up the cylinder can be tough, but its doable with proper tools.
his design now is quite good, I have his regs on 3 of my air rifles (disco, aa400 and bsa scorpion, s200 is sold) and they work great.

I have the Altaros old design reg fitted on my custom CZ200T for two years now with no problems.
A couple of fellow shooters have instaled the new improved design Alteros Regs on their AA 200S' and reportedly it works fine.

You can also look for the Robert Lane regulators. He offers a fine product and excellent technical advise.
