I've got one of Joel's laminated copies of the McMillan A5. If the stock I received is any indication of what's typical from him, I'd buy another stock from him and/or recommend Joel Russo's stocks without hesitation. IMHO, my stock was well above average in the areas of surface finish & inletting quality, as delivered. Didn't take much work on my part to bed or finish, and after three years, I'm still satisfied with it.
