Hi All
Has anyone used the new trigger from Timney for the Ruger 1022? If so any comments

On most 10-22s the main thing you need to change is the hammer and sear. Changing the trigger doesn't add much except more expense.

I opted for a Kid trigger, made by Tony Kidd. It's a work of art. Two stage. It made my 10/22T shoot much better. That being said, it can't compare to the triggers in my three Anschutz rifles. You might post your question over at RimFireCentral.Com and see what kind of feedback you get.

Did my own

I used a fine stone and got my 10-22 down to just over 2 lbs consistently. Before that you could pull a tree stump with it! Went real easy on the sear and must have reassembled and tested it over a dozen times until I was satisfied. If you're not affraid to do it, it worked for me. I went into it with the mind set that if it did not work or was not safe I would put in new parts. After a few years and countless rounds, no problem. If I decide to go farther, it will be replacing all those cheap plastic bushings with metal. They don't appear to be wearing, but the fit is a bit sloppy.
