My Harrell powder measure spout was a bit too low when clamped to the bench edge. Using some Mahogany from the scrap barrel, I cobbled together a stand.bracket to mount the measure at a higher level. It has a base that is clamped to the bench by the press, with, as can be seen, a top clamping top plate for the measure.
Not pretty, but it works.
Some time back I posted a question on catching spent primers using the Harrell press pictured. I tried a couple of small stick-on catch boxes which I soon knocked loose. My final (to date) solution can just be seen a little bit under the bench......a large fiber drum that could catch basket balls. LOL Works great.

Nice solution. Pretty piece of wood. And your really neat! I built a small shelf that I clamp my Harrel's to and keep my balance beam scale on..
How do you like the press? I like the way it lies flat in the range box. Do you use the screwin dies for resizing. Havent done that yet.

I like the press, and yes, it has a threaded hole for dies which I use for FL resize, neck size, de-prime and shoulder bumps.
It does fold very flat, but I don't load at the range (yet. LOL)
Good mahogany has become a favorite wood of mine. It has turned out some nice furniture projects.

a word of caution on the wood powder measure stand.
make sure you seal the wood very well or you will get problems with humidity.
one day it will throw fine the next it will be all over the place...wood exspansion....
humidity is a terriable thing in br shooting...

Mike how does the wood affect the throwing ability of the measure that is clamped to it?
Or I must be misunderstanding what it is you mean.

the density of the wood changes which in turn effects the natural vibration of the wood, this in turn will cause the density in the hopper to change...which means one gets varying charges...

(it does not..i was just having a little funnnnnnnnnnnn....sorry vern)

Is this where the common term "WOODY" comes from? LOL

I weigh all loads.

Hmm Bob based on that context and the correlation to Mike's statement are you saying we need to put a condom on our powder stand and grind up little blue pills to mix with the powder to make it more consistent??

Vern, be careful with the little blue pills, it may require an extended drop tube. Now don't forget the warnings, anything
more than 4 hours at your loading bench and you will have to call the DR. Have no fear, all though you will talk to his
answering machine, he just may call back in a day or so

old joke...
guy on the blue pilll hears ths stories about potential blindness and call's his doc.

" doc, is it true about the blindness?"

doc "yes, i 'm afraid it is true, you are going to have to stop the blue pill"

" could i maybe use till i need glasses ??"

i have talked to many older benchrest shooters.
it would appear to me that most of you are already shooting STIFF loads, but sadly have no use for a condom.....
