Has anyone tried this powder in 6.5x47? have you compared it to Rl 15?

Yes, but not extensively. With 140gr bullets, you need a long drop tube and a slow pour to get enough powder in the case, the load was compressed. Was running 4 grs more than RL 15 with very similar ES (17) and SD #'s (5), vel avg. 75 more FPS. Only shot (2) 5 shot groups, one was larger than the RL 15 groups that day, the other was smaller. That was back in September, been meaning to try to fine tune, but haven't gotten around to it yet....

Stugotz, Does this mean for the 120 grain bullets I wouldn't get enough powder in case to exceed vel. with RL 15?

Not sure, the 140's stick down a good bit below the neck shoulder junction with the reamer I'm using. The 120's being shorter may give you the room you need for a bit more powder. You might check the forums on 6br, I believe there were some guys there trying RL17 with some of the lighter bullets in the 6.5x47L.
