Kinda guessing why benchrest is slowing down, matches are held, but no posting of results, alot of us can not make them, but we sure would like the results, you know like years ago, maybe this is why benchrest is declining.
 
Hunter, Bill G and Wilbur have posted the results below. I drove home last night, took anout 6 hours, when I got home the results were already posted..

You should have been there yourself Great shoot, great folks great food.

To whatever extent benchrest might be declining, I doubt that it has anything to do with posting results. Actually, I think Wilbur and others do a good job of sharing results promptly; regrettably, all they can do is post 'em, they can't hand deliver 'em to our doorstep.

Come shoot with us in Sept; there will likely be at least three shooters from FL, some of whom might be glad to give you a ride.

What I am trying to say is years ago, there was always someone posing everyday to let those who could not make to match, seems like it is not the case anymore. I don't feel it is Wilbur's place to post the results especially if he is not there.
 
The internet is more "scattered" these days...but, you're somewhat correct in what you say there.
 
I'll say this again in case somebody didn't catch it 10 years ago ( :) ). If you have match results and believe it's easier to email them than post them...just send the results to me and I'll post them. I don't have a working scanner but will get one if anybody has printed results.
