For 2011 we will be offering 2 new Benchrest Classes for Air Rifles. One class will be for .177 caliber legal Olympic power level rifles and the other class will be for Unlimited power rifles in .177 or .22 caliber. In the Unlimited class we will be using a scoring plug from the now defunct AGBR sanctioning body. Both classes will be shot at 50 yds. At the beginning of the year we will be using the AGBR target. When we run out of the AGBR targets we will switch to the RBA rimfire target. Interested air rifle owners please email me for more info. Sounds fun! One thing though .... we found it difficult to shoot that sort of target with 10M level guns when the wind was up some, as some shots drifted into an ajacent box. A target with lots of room between bulls is better for outdoor 50yd shooting with the lower powered guns, unless of course your range is indoors.
