Rimmed case headspace problem

Hope you can help. Ruger 77/22 Hornet. The case specs show rim thickness at .065, my lot of cases have some that measure .063 to .064 and the stripped bolt closes hard on them, and the extraction is sticky as well. Bolt recess measures .061 .
Cases that measure .062 or less function fine. Ruger would probably want the rifle back and I'd rather not do that. What is the proper fix, and at what approximate cost?
BTW, a few strokes of the case head on sandpaper over glass and the offending cases cycle fine.
Thanks
Bryan

Sounds like you fixed the problem. Glue some sandpaper down and have at it. Only other options is new brass or adjust the gun. Id adjust the brass and keep it movin.

KISS method

Sounds good to me. Maybe I'll make an adapter of sorts and use a case trimmer to take a thou or 2 off the base and call it good!
Adds a "new dimension" to case prep!?
Thanks!
