I don't know how to up-right it. :(

More pics

Is this the kind of Rimfire match you guys shoot? This coming Tuesday is another match. Things are pretty laid back.
Their was one fellow that had a Thomson-Center .22 auto.
I didn't start matches. It's nice to see people at a club. That once was a Skeet club, shooting something different.

ARA targets come from ARA..
http://ara.benchrest.net/ARA_Store.html
IR 50/50 targets come from Wilber, our host here, RBA targets come from RBA. Each association has a webpage which is linked to from the home page of this website....Go to Benchrest Central Home and click on the logos.

Check the contacts or club listings on those website. I know there are several MI clubs in ARA.

Targets

Mark;

We buy all of our targets at "National Target". They have always delivered when promised and give a club discount and seem to be very nice folks to deal with.

Harrison

I Like Em All !!! Each one has its own quirk. At Harrison we have been using the I.B.S. target at 25/50. Dick got us started with that target when we first started rimfire benchrest and it stuck.

Although there are some advantages to just doing what the locals want, there are also advantages to using a national standard target and rules. If you use a recognized target and rules, it is easy to measure your progress and, if you choose, attend national shoots without the intimidation factor of having to change what you do or how you score. You can coodinate match dates with neighboring clubs so you can increase your attendance and have more dates to shoot. The more competitive types in your group can contend for national placements on one of several lists.

Another Option

If your club does not have other clubs near you to shoot with . . .

Consider Rimfire Central's On-Line Matches. We use the USBR target, but are not sanctioned by USBR, as we shoot 25 yards as well as 50 yards and we changed a couple of rifle class rules to attract the new shooter.

In the On-Line matches you shoot against (with) shooters from several States, Austraila & Brazil. A new match every month all year. if you don't live in the "Snow Belt".
