I'm trying to find a retaining pin for a Tikka extractor . I believe the Tikka and Sako extractors are the same. I have call Beretta a number of times but can't get anyone to answer the phone. Does anyone have any idea where i can find one of these retaining pins? I would prefer to get a factory job since I'm not sure of the exact spec's to make one.

Sako parts

Might try to contact Jim Lutes Whitewater, KS for Sako items.

I called him, but i couldn't understand a thing he was saying , so just had to thank him for his trouble and said i would just call Beretta . He was just rambling on and made no sense at all.

Sorry to hear that, its been several years since I talked to him.

You have given the prime reason I will never buy anothe Sako

When Beretta bought Sako/Tika their service went into the crapper.

All of Beretta service is done in Maryland.

I think I got my last Sako parts from StoegerUSA.

You might also check with Dave Kiff at PT&G, he bought all the old Sako fixtures and parts.

That's why I moved

I couldn't understand my English Teacher. Left MD in 54 and never looked back.

All the sako and sako style extractors that I've seen use the same pin diameter and spring diameter setup. Some of the pins are flat on the end that works against the extractor (later Sako's), most of them aren't and are cut away with a lip going over the end of the extractor.
