Boy Howdy what a day, 1st off Roger brought a couple of ringers - but that was good thing as we couldn't get the gate to open " it's a digital thing."so they jumped the gate and got it opened. I think that was a sign the devil was playing with us and as the match went on sure enough that devil wind again was out and about ..as you can see some shooter had that sweet spot.

Wow,

That Charline has won again! Back to bak 4850's is darned good for that game! Hay Howard, why not total the two targets for the "overall winner" in your games?
I think its a more common way, and allows for more gold stars, right?

Larry-as a long time BR50 shooter you know that's not how things are done. there's no x count and things like that just very simple in or out..and as for those gold stars being handed out for 1st place and the high price of gold now days that's just ain't going to happen.BTW what do you hand out at your game's if you the winner??H.B.

Roger,

When I first shot BR50, the game was in its heyday, I think around 1987 or so ... we only shot maybe a half dozen matches or so and it petered out for our club.

Then when I shot it at your matches, the rules had changed quite a lot, and you said it was historically a constantly changing game even when Larry Brown was running it. So, I figger it was ok to ask that you total the results for Match winner, right?

Anyhow ....

The Winners at Temecula are usually offered free food and beer or wine (or soda pop, if they don't want beer or wine). But the other day, I scored a whole giant boxful of nice 15" tall trophies, so once I get new place tags made up, I can save on the drinks and give tawdry plastic and marble trophies out instead!

What !! you don't have any of those bitching trophies that Larry Brown gave out to the winners at the end of the year..??? now those where a piece of art..

No,

What we got was a nasty accusation that we had used "stolen targets", because he didn't remember the name of the guy (Harry Clump) in our club that had bought them from him. What a piece a work THAT Brown guy was!
