Great morning to shoot. Winds started out SE 7-9......had a period of calm in the middle, and N to NW6 to finish out.

Heavy Varmint

Mike Niksch Thomas (1) 249 11x, (2) 250 18x, (3) 250 16x Total 749 45x

Light Varmint

Ben Endreson Thomas (1) 248 11x, (2) 248 17x, (3) 250 12x Total 746 40x

Darrin Westermann Thomas (1) 247 14x, (2) 246 12x, (3) 249 8x Total 742 34x

All scores today were shot at sub 12FPE with JSB 8.44's for both guns.

Today was the first showing of my WRABF and USARB rules compliant mechanical strike mechanism in HV and LV.....no electronics. I'm happy with it, but there is some room for improvement in a few areas. To be fair......I should mention that Ross's gun is currently unregulated, and everybody is concentrating so hard that they forget the POI starts to drop after about 20 shots. Ross remembered on his last card.

Special congratulations to Ben for setting the new LV record

Mike

Mike,

Great shooting to all. Think you might have overlooked the new USA record in HV. Congratulations.

Great scores Mike, you are continuing to move that bar up.

Very interesting, can you give more details.

Brian

Here's the old stock and electronics in front of the prototype mechanical.

It takes roughly 1-2 minutes to change from one to the other. The solenoid housing and the mechanical strike housing simply screw off the end of the valve body to allow interchange. It will maintain its velocity setting from either configuration when changing over. Couldn't be easier. :D

Great Shooting guys!

Mike,
Thanks for the offer to send me your new NO ELECTRONICS THOMAS for shooting next weekend at the New England Regional match in Salem N.Y.
With my going to Maine mid week and then heading to NY would be a long shot to receive it in time!

Great shooting and changing over from Electrical to Mech.in a short time.

Paul

A little analysis is in order.

1 Match
4 Shooters

2 New USA Records Outdoors
3 250s Outdoors
3 249s Outdoors
2 248s Outdoors

Must be the water.

A small but obvious bet on when and where the first 750 outdoors will be shot?
