Good shooting everyone, another 250 for the Hadfields.
Todd glad you could make it to Holbrook
Michael, David and Russell Thanks for coming out and shooting in the Cold,Rain and wind! What happened to the 90 degree weather of last week?
See you soon,
Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for running a great match, your generosity and hard work are very much appreciated. Also thanks for getting the results posted and submitted to Wilbur in a timely manner.

It's a shame you are reduced to giving away your own match pins and are reduced to begging Wilbur for what should have been supplied at the start of the season! A match director's job is hard enough without worrying about supplies.

I was lucky yesterday. I could feel you, Todd & Mike breathing down my neck.

See you at Pinnacle Mountain on the 28th.

Al

PS; Anyone else having problems getting the "Smiles" and other "Rich Text" features to work when posting?

Paul,

Glad to see that everyone had a good time, and happy to see that Al was once again at the top of his game. Aren't he and Penny having quite the year. I can't wait for the match when they both come loaded for bear, and shoot the first ever combination husband and wife 1500 duet ever posted in rimfire. Now, that's going to be quite the match to witness. The only question now is: will it happen at Holbrook, Pinnacle, or maybe out at the Tom Miller in Salem?

And Paul, CONGRATULATIONS on shooting your first ever 249 ...and with 16X's to boot. Good thing Al didn't blink on that one!

Todd, how did you like Holbrook ...and how long before you think you'll be shooting your first 250 there?

Sorry I had to miss all the fun, but maybe next month.

Dave

My word Dave, you are going to give us such swelled heads we will have to be let out our cap's adjustment band a notch or more. ;-)

Al

First off...Paul, thanks again, you put such effort into running a great match and it is truly appreciated. You did some great shooting. Congratulations! You continue to improve with each match. I think your first 250 is just around the corner.

Al - congrats my friend, you are having a great year. It is a pleasure to shoot with you. Now Al, tell me how you manage to shoot between the rain drops. I know that all my dropped shots were because a big ole rain drop caught them just as they were about to hit the X!!

Todd - glad you made it to Holbrook, you push the competition. Hope you'll continue to come to these matches.

David and Russell - thanks for rounding out the match for a great time. Keep pushing your equipment, you are improving.

And finally Penny and Dave, you were missed. See you at Pinnacle in a couple of weeks.

As always, all you guys are great. I really enjoy shooting at this match.

Best,
Michael

Paul,
I had a great time at the match yesterday. Holbrook is a nice range, and I'm glad to see it still exists across the street from a development of fairly expensive houses(I notice things like that, being in the home building industry). The portable concrete benches you built are top-notch. You shot well, too.

Al, that was some nice shooting in pretty crappy conditions! I bet Penny would have done as well if she was there. You two are on a roll this year!

Dave, I can't shoot a 250 anywhere. I'd be willing to bet that Michael or Paul shoot a 250 before I do this year. I hope they do!

Ditto what Michael said to Dave and Russel. I'll try to make it too Holbrook at least one more time this year.
Todd

Paul Sounds like you guys have a good time at Holbrook. Did you shoot eggs and cannons?
Congratulations to the winners.
See you at Salem.

Hi Gordon,

Penny and I are looking forward to coming out to play with you and the gang at the "Tom Miller". That's going to be one long weekend of shooting with the "Tom Miller" on Saturday and Holbrook the next day. Guess I'll have to take a couple of extra pills and slug down the coffee! :)

Al

Congratulations Al

Congratulations Al and all the other shooters for some fine shooting. It seems to win anymore you must shoot at least one 250 Target. I guess Penny showed you all last week that it's not against the rules to shoot TWO. Keep up the good scores. Fred

Well done Al and Penny and all the other shooters.( Age shall not weary them nor the years condem)No they just get better.By the way Al do you know where I can buy some good used post holes?
Take Care Mate
Rob...

Gordon,
375 Yards, need a better backer for the 7 1/2 lb ball. It looks like my ignition is hot enough.

Todd, thanks for coming to Holbrook. Doug and Craig both shot a 249 with BAD BRAD first time shooting rimfire! with no wind flags!! It only took me 3 years for my 249. I might not make Salem but will see you at PM.
Joe, I have as much fun shooting my 7 1/2 lb pellets as the Airguns. I have 6 hrs into my new stock. I should have let Gary paint them both.
David Lee I see you have mod. the 40 X to fit a rest better your score will go up alot.
Al, Penny, David, Mike thanks for the encouragement, I hope to have a few more benches in the fall and the new warmup house should be done.
Take care,
Paul
