Results are in. We had a good turnout today with cool overcast weather, light switchy winds, and plenty of fun. We had 2 relays, a few return Benchrest shooters showed up with their hot FX Impact Open Class.22's, Rod and Ryan Parks. Al Duster traveled again from North Central PA to test his luck outside with the Springer.
This was our last registered Outdoor USARB match of the season, we have tentatively scheduled the Season to start back up outside on the last Saturday of April next spring. Until then we will host indoor 50 foot BR matches at our Indoor Kalamazoo range. These matches are a lot of fun, but not registered. The plan is for those matches to start up in December.
Ryan Parks at 25 Meters had some really good scores with his Open class .22., Joe Chapman once again with his HV .177 dominated at 25 meters. I got out my Thomas and took a go at it at 50 Yards with somewhat surprising results since I never shoot that distance. Eric Simmons did well at 25 meters with the LV. And Mark King did well with his Springer at 25 meters. For the 50 Yard game Mark put away his Springer and got out his LV class .177. He bested Eric at the 50 yard game at that point.
All in all it was a great day to be outside and pull triggers on paper. Results are below.
