What is the average distance from the edge of the front bag to the stop pin. My 6PPC has a McMillan Edge stock. I am building a front rest and would like it to be about right. Thanks!

Most are adjustable from near touching to about 4 inches out.

I'd guess most guys would set the stop between 1 and 2 inches in front of the front edge of the bag.
