Rest carrying cases

Besides the skb at Sinclaire where else can you buy that same carrying case for a rest? They run about $100.00 at Sinclaire. Anybody find the same one or similar to that type elsewhere for sale? I got the new joystick rest from Caldwell and need a case.

Get a Pelican ( Brand Name) 1550.
You will not be unhappy with it. It is large enough to hold your rest,front and rear bags,timer and snake and super feet plus additional towels and lube all in a easy to carry handled case. It is very sturdy and dust proof too. No, I am NOT affiliated w/Pelican................ Jan
 
Ron Lewis and Gene Corvin are using a surplus aluminum box that was a case for some kind of NOD they work great I'll see if I can find out where they came from. Or you could build one out of wood.
 
Only problem with wood, it is so heavy. I made one to fit my Cowen. Used 1x8 with edge glued 1x2 for sides, top and bottom and it is heavy. Reinforced and put a pair of heavy handles to carry. Have been leaving in my Station Wagon and not removing. Have a place for 3 wind flags on the top of the box.
