Removing glued in action from stock

Looks like I may have to remove this Farley action from a Scoville stock. I have no experience with this. Do any of you have a good method that might work for me?? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Rich

I believe many simply place a hot electric iron (about 400 degrees) on the scope base and let it sit for 15 minutes or so until it loosens the epoxy.

Dennis, thanks. Sounds simple enough. How about cleaning up leftover epoxy from the action and stock channel. What will cut that stuff?

I have never tried a liquid, I grind and sand, etc...
