Remove Ejectors from Rem 40X Bolt

Recently purchased a 22LR Remington 40X and want to set the head space on a new barrel I'm installing. Decided the easiest way would be to remove the enjectors from the bolt face. Got a parts blow up that shows where the pieces are, but can't seem to be able to remove the enjectors. Any help out there? Thanks
 
You have to push the plungers back into the bolt and then the extractors can be shaken or pulled out. I use one of the tiny screwdrivers that come in the electronics screwdriver assortments.

To reinstall the extractors you put the spring and plunger in their hole and then use the extractor to push the plunger back into the hole and then with a push inward the extractor will seat in.
 
Keep in mind those small parts, and springs can, and will go flying. Choose carefuuly where you take that apart.
