Folks:
I know this isn't Benchrest related but it is the winter months and way too cold and windy to shoot. I'm in the process of restoring a very old Remington Model 141 for a friend. Does anyone know how to get the forarm off of this pump action .35 ? I have done the 870's, but never a 141. I plan to use the African Express Old English stock oil kit from Brownells which I have had some excellent results with. I have been at this a lot of years but have never come across one of these. My best guess is that this rifle was built in the
late 40's and has a Weaver KV 3 to 5, nice glass for it's age. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks: John
