I had for a few years a rem ltr in 223 and I bought it from my brother Well he used to be sniper for local law enforcement and he retired and sold the gun to me -- he has the rifle back because he loved the gun and I am going to buy another to replace it but my question is if this gun was purchased 10 or 12 yrs ago will the new rifle have the same trigger as the first rifle. I have read some on the new trigger x mark pro - I think the old rifle had a 40x trigger that was great and I want to know opinions on what trigger it will have and if I will have to replace it and if it's not the same trigger then is it a good trigger to have cleaned up. I don't think I have a rifle that has the new trigger but is it an improvement Thanks for input

I would not get a Jewel trigger. They are worse than Lays potato chips, you cant have just one. Once you own one you will want one on every gun you own. Ask how I know.
