Any ideas on how to remove a stuck ejector on a Remington 788 bolt..??...(not extractor)...the ejector cannot be tapped out when the pin was removed....

If my memory serves me correctly when you remove the firing pin assembly you can see ,with the help of small light, about 180 degrees of the bottom of the hole. Whether you can get something in there is another story! If that doesn't work I suppose the next thing would be to put it in a 4 jaw chuck. After you have it dialed in spot drill it an go in with a smaller drill. If it starts to spin your all set, if not you'll know when you hit the spring so you won't go too deep.

I'd try sticking the nose of the bolt into Kroil or maybe a good powder solvent overnight first on the off chance that it's just gummed up with crud.

Thanks...Martin...you were right on the money...I made a pin from a long piece of music wire an was able to push it out from inside the bolt..
