I have need for a 600 bolt with a 308 bolt face. I haven't played much with the Model 7's... does a Model 7 bolt come close to working in a 600?

I think the only difference is the "dog leg" bolt handle on the 600.

Dennis...the XP100, 600 and model 7 Remingtons all share the same bolt...I have one of each they will interchange...

I have used these 3 short Remingtons rifles for a long time..the old 600 is 30+ years old...the XP-100 has a CPS custom bolt in it the fit is so close that if the bedding is not right the bolt will bind during operating....
