I might sell it,I don't know at this point I have had alot of people wanting to buy it. are you interested if so what's your offer JR. Brooks

I would like the Action, cause I can only use my left hand and it is a left hand bolt, there fore your other byers may give more if they want to keep the gun as is, but you my call me at 620-238-0732 and tell me what you have to have for it and we can go from there, Thant You

Phil ,
Is it to late for a south paw to get in on the bidding.

never to late. I think selling this firearm for part's would be a Sin and offer's are always considered Ive had several offers already .I know if I come up with a mag its very valuable as you will not likely find another lefty

Just curious, I wonder why a magazine is so hard to find? Knowing how companies do things, it seems to me Remington would have used an existing model mag, rather than engineer a separate one for such a small production. Thanks, Douglas

Phil,
This is very unique! I have never seen one before. Is this a right bolt rifle that has been converted to left hand? I don't see the Safety? Is the stock factory?
Thanks for showing it.

Del,
I can't tell you alot on this 40x I got it from Clark Hall here in oregon he was known for his left hand conversions on sako's but he has since died so I can't pic his brain
I have since learned that the remington custom shop did do a few left hand conversion with right hand eject.. stock looks like most of the repeater stock's but not sure. saftey is there

The magazines are VERY,VERY yes I said VERY expensive. I have sent you a PM on a gentleman that had several.

Jim

The orginal magazines where less than Ideal. I have two extra for mine BUT they are usually not a "SLIP IN" I had to alter the one as it would not feed after the 2nd bullet it would just POP straight up. I have seen a real nice conversion using a readily available clip and it feed flawlessly.

Hippy ,
Can you give us some information about this conversion that you have seen or an after market clip that will work. Thanks. -CS

I saw this conversion done and YES it does work. It is not that labor intense BUT you do need to have a knowledge of the mechanics.

There was someone on Snipershide that was working on doing a conversion BUT those parts had to me machined and used a Sako mag (Expensive and hard 2 find).

Good luck;)
