iwas wondering about the accuracy of this gun with a 20" barrel, will it be good for coyotes /deer out to 250-300yds.
doe anyone have experiance with these guns.
any input would be greatly appreciated.
the gun is in about 90-95% condition.

I bought one of those new in 1968, I had a "duh" moment and let someone talk me out of it a few years later. There was not a better pick-up gun made than that particular model, in my opinion.

I cannot speak to the accuracy of the particular one you have, but I will say this - if you decide you don't like it I would be interested in it.

To address your question, mine was not particuarily accurate, somewhere around an inch for 3 shots at 100 yds, but what it lacked in accuracy it made up for in ease of handling.

Caution - the 600 / 660 series of Remingtons had a different trigger than the 700, the 600 / 660 series had a history of "gumming" up and sometimes would fire when the safety was disengaged, you may want to test yours to be sure that it is okay. Worse case is that, unless someone has "adjusted" the trigger. is that the trigger assembly needs a good cleaning.

There's no reason that it shouldn't be accurate if it's properly bedded and the barrel isn't worn out. A .243 barrel is good for 1500-2000 rounds which is a lot for a deer rifle, but not too many for a varmint rifle. That depends on how well and carefully it was cleaned too.

If the barrel is worn out it can certainly be rebarrelled for any cartridge based on the .308 Win case (.243, .260, 7mm-08, .338 Fed, .358 Win, along with numerous wildcats.
