Rem 40X and Jewell Trigger

does any know if the Jewell remington trigger with no safety will "drop in" or onto a 40X (older 722 based action) with NO mods necessary? Serial number 1300 range can't remember exact number right now without looking. Anyone with experience? Tks --Greg
 
If it is going into the original 722 style stock, a little needs to be taken off the end of the trigger shoe or it will rub on the trigger guard.
