Relocating Ejector on 788

Has anyone relocated the ejector on the 788 top clear a scope?

another way

1.) Use high rings and turn the windage knob up with the elevation knob to the left.

2.) Tilt the rifle clock-ways a little when operationg the bolt:)=
 
Thank you for the suggestions, how ever they do not meet the needs of the shooter, they have 1: been tried and found difficult to shoot with or and not wanting to have an odd configuration for sighting in. 2: Lost too many coyotes with a jammed rifle. 3: The customer is always right. I was just hoping that someone had already done this and would share their experiences good or bad. PM me if you want to discuss off line.

It has been a long while since I had a 788 but I think the location of the small port is going to limit change. It is not just the ejector but the extractor as well that control the angle of ejection.... and it has to go out the existing port.

I think the customer is not always right.
