Relieving H-S stock for loading port

I'm building a live varmint/pronghorn 6BR using one of Jerry Stiller's new PredatorV actions (RBLP). I have an H-S stock inletted for a regular RBRP Rem 700. I'll need to relieve the left side of the stock for the left loading port and the PredatorV bolt release. How can I make a neat job of this, preferably without having to use a milling machine?

I don't plan to fill in the existing loading port relief on the right side, but if there is an easy way to do that I might consider it. Thanks!

Thanks. I'm not worried about matching the "webbed" finish (which does look like it would be tough to do), so I'll probably end up doing pretty much what you've suggested. I considered roughing in the cuts with a table saw with a carbide blade, or making the finishing cuts with a router and a carbide bit, to keep the cuts straight, but I'm not sure whether a carbide blade will do a decent job on the plastic material. I guess I could try a shallow cut first to check before breaking out the Dremel ...

I've never seen a plastic HS stock. all the ones I've seen are graphite of some type. a dremel with a zip saw will work good. do like lynn said and make a tape template on the side where you don't go too far. what I do is lay it on the other side and trace the existing port then transfer it to the other side.

carbide tools will cut plastic very well goathead workers will thread protectors on rework casing at work. makes pretty shavings
