I recently aquired a 40x rifle and have a Redfield Palma sight coming for it. However I am having trouble finding a redfield base for the 40x. Does anyone know where I can find one? Thanks in advance
Any Redfield base for a Remington 700, 721, 722, 725 will work on the 40X. It is the same reciever. There are several sources, Champions, OK Weber, Warner Machine, etc..
When you mount the base, make sure that the screws are trimmed to be flush or a little recessed on the inside lug raceway.
