I'm sizing brass for a 20Practical. That is a .223 case neck sized only, down to a .204. I'm using Redding "S" dies. To do the initial sizing, I'm doing it in two steps and I need to size the complete neck of the case. The FL szing die only appears to size about half of the neck, while the NK die obviously sizes the whole length of the case neck. Is this charateristic of FL dies and will I need to FL size in a separate step then neck size in the second with the NK in order to get the entire case neck sized, or does the NK die also do full length sizing? Once I get the brass formed, I'd like to be able to FL & NK size in one operation. Thanks.. What a great forum..
