I want to congradulate all the fine scores at Dietzville on Saturday evening. Hoping to avoid the upcoming storms, the shooters rushed through their targets. There has never been a shoot that has produce so many 2400 Plus targets much less 3 - 2500's That 2429.17 agg for six targets is also outstanding. What better tribute to the Late Bill Myers, than this. David Schmidt was use a Myers smithed Suhl. All David could say, was thank you Bill.

Fred,
Those are super scores!!! Amazing to say the least! Congrats to all the winners! That's exceptional shooting by a lot of folks!

Excellent Scores Fred

But no equipment list. I know you don't have to list it but I imagine a lot of people would like to see it. Mickey:rolleyes::(:)

Equipment

David Schmidt shot a Myers smithed Suhl, and a Sightron Scope. I think he use Lapus Center X, but as you know, equipment lists are not required for Club matches. Macky Locklin also shot a Myers smithed Suhl. I think he used Eley, but don't hold me to it. Now you have the info I have.

PS:
By the the way Mickey, Happy Birthday.

The only thing I can add concerning the equipment is David's rifle has a Lilja barrel, and if I'm not mistaking he said it's about 6 years old, but could be wrong. David didn't say, but I also understand he was shooting Center-X. David has been on fire lately, he's a top notch shooter, but he's hotter than ever. Macky was shooting a very nice Myers Suhl, I believe it's one of those rifles that was featured last year, Nickled action, absolutely beautiful wooden stock, Tiger Strip??? and could be wrong again, but Shilen Racket barrel. He did say he was shooting Black Box. For what it's worth for the top 5, I was shooting a Gorham Turbo, Edge Stock, Shilen Racket Barrel, Rick was shooting a Calfee Turbo, Edge Stock, and I do believe he said it had a Shilen Racket barrel, and Fran was shooting a Myers Turbo, but I'm not sure about the barrel or stock.

Les, Davids rifle has a Benchmark 2 grove reverse taper barrel.

Hi Jack,

That's why I shouldn't even be guessing for my memory isn't worth a darn. I remember the story now and why I was thinking Lilja. Oh well whatever he's got hanging off the end of that Suhl it's working good. :D

Les

I can't get over how truly amazing that score is that David shot! Whatever he was shooting and whatever he had hanging off the barrel it sure did work well!!! I've only shot one ARA match in my life and it was indoors, and those 2400's and 2500's sure ain't easy to come by, no matter what!
Great shooting David!!!

Cool as a Cucumber

He never gets upset, and almost never takes more than 10 minutes to shoot a card. You think whiskey is smooth, ya gotta watch David in action.

Fred,
That surely has to be a record 6 card Agg. Also unless Joe Frederick has done it...I don't think there have been back to back 2500s shot ever.

Pretty awsome shooting.

I was wondering the same thing about the agg for a 6 card match. The back to back 2500's I'm pretty sure hasn't been done before.

Les

Wow

Back to Back 2500's has not been done before. Congratulations David on a stellar performance, I for one couldn't be happier for you especially with one of Bill's rifle. One is tough enough but 2 simply Awesome.

Congrat's to Macky also for his 2500 and to everyone for some fine shooting.

Take Care,
Joe
