recoil lug choice...

ok...the bbl showed up today( that woul dbe 4weeks and 3 days from ordering), i have not even done basic stuff to the action,
i will continue to pick the brains of fellow shooters.
it is a 300 win mag, 30 " heavy bbl with 17 lbs as a goal.(lots of lead).

whose got the "best" recoil lug ?

i'm open to lots of input on building this rifle...but it must be work i can do myself.

Mike Burns makes a real good recoil lug. His website is therifler.com
 
ok , looks like a choice between mike burns and hollands. mike's is a full 1/4" thick.
the gun is 300 win mag,lite gun(17lbs), glass/foam filled stock, 190/210's. my tenative plan is bolt in, maybe with a lower bedding plate between pillars.

so sound off.
