Rechambering a 300 win mag Tikka T3 to 300 RUM

Im wanting a ultra light Hunting rifle for all weather use. Im looking real hard at a Tikka T3 stainless in Left hand. The real question I have is if I buy a Tikka in 300 win mag can I get the barrel rechambered in 300 RUM? The reason for the rum is that i already reload for the RUM and im set up for it. I will also get the barrel braked to help ease the recoil, with that in mind can I get the barrel cut down to 22" then have a brake job done so overal barrel length of barrel is at 22" and not have my ballistics be changed that much with the smaller barrel?

Thanks in advave for your replies!!!

Pal 300RUM and 22" barrel including a muzzle break doesn't make any sense. Rad

dies and brass for a 300 mag, don't add up to the re-work cost.

Like rad said, doesn't make sense.

The report from that will be horrible.

Ok forget about cutting barrel, just rechambering for a 300 RUM?

Tikka box mag would be too short for a 300RUM. Also the Sako A series were differant length for the 300Win vs 300 RUM (action wise) AIV for 300Win vs AV for 300RUM not (100%) positive about the Tikka series tho. The recoil with the 300RUM in an ULTR-Lite would be fierce even with a(brake/porting) velocity gain would be minimal with a 23.75 barrel in the standard Tikka config.
