What's the best spacing for rear bag ears (flat between ears)?
With a 5/8 flat on stock what should ear space be?

Thanks,
Gary.

Methinkks everybodys biorithyms are in a trough right now...

I'd go with 1/2" spacing for your 5/8" width.

My McMillan has a 3/4" flat on the butt, so I ordered a Protector with a 5/8" spread. Works great.

I think if you order your exact width, you'll be lacking in side support.

Go figure.
